直径不变、流量一致的单一管道称为简单管，与此不同的其它管道或管道系统称为复杂管，一切复杂管都可以用简单管公式或转变为简单管计算。The single pipe with the same diameter and the same flow rate is called simple pipe, and the other pipe or pipeline system is called complex pipe. All complex pipes can be calculated by simple pipe formula or converted into simple pipe.

输气管的通过能力与管径的2.67次方成正比，若管径增大一倍，则流通能力将增大（）倍。The passage capacity of the gas pipe is directly proportional to the 2.67th power of the pipe diameter. If the pipe diameter is doubled, the flow capacity will increase by 22.67=6.4 times.
